Flothe used to work as a stock broker, but not anymore. She decided to give up that life and turn to something else, mainly the fast-paced world of the food industry. She gave up on working with money to work with food instead. And she’s dead set on building a dining empire, on going all the way up from roadside diner to five-star restaurant. That, in a nutshell, is the story behind the PlayFirst-developed app Diner Dash.

The Diner Dash gameplay goes something like this: you are the manager of a restaurant and customers keep pouring in. You have to seat them, take their orders, bring them their food, and then get the bill sorted. The money you earn can be used to purchase upgrades for your restaurant. It seems simple and at first it is simple. But as more and more customers come into your restaurant, you will find that managing everything and keeping everyone happy is a real challenge. This is not to say that the game isn’t fun – because it is tons of fun.

The full version of the Dinner Dash game is available for purchase in the App Store for $2.99 (there’s a free Lite version as well). But that’s not the only platform on which the game is available. You can also play the game on your Mac, or on your Windows-powered PC, or online in your browser window. There’s tons of fun to be had, no matter what platform you choose.
